Use of Acupuncture in Relieving Symptoms Of Long Covid in a 47-year old Filipina with Transient Ischemic Attack : A Case Report

In this detailed case report, Sr. Shengrong Liu (DAOM, L.Ac., CTCMP), Dr. Aimee Grace C. Ang (MD, MBA, CMA), and Dr. Maria Eufemia C. Yap (MD, M.Sc.) present the clinical progress of a 47-year-old Filipina patient who experienced prolonged symptoms of Long COVID following a transient ischemic attack (TIA). This case highlights the role of acupuncture as a supportive and integrative therapy in managing post-COVID conditions. The findings offer insights into how Traditional Chinese Medicine can complement conventional care in complex and chronic cases, particularly in patients with neurological vulnerabilities.
