Testimonial of our alumni student Ms. Joanna Siddayao-Afable CAA Batch 4

It started September 2020–COVID Pandemic. I was still pondering on what to do and how I can help in the crisis. Though we have already started the NAPA Project on that same year, I felt I still have something more to share. I have had trainings in India about Tibetan Medicine and Natural Acupuncture. But I was clueless on how to start since I am not connected to any group or community of practitioner. So, while waiting for the unknown, I started studying at SMIC. It is a great privilege to be part of these community. I will be forever grateful of my mentor and teacher– Sr. Regina Liu and Sr. Michelle Liu.
Finally after 2 years, I have finished the course and have received the PITAHC certificate to practice as an acupuncturist in the Philippines.
May all be happy:) – Joanna S. CAA
